DUM is a trio based in California’s SF Bay Area. The group consists of David Unger, Scott Marsh, and Menna. DUM produces, writes, and engineers the majority of their music from their home studio. DUM is releasing a seven track EP titled, “Smarty Pants”, that correlates a new style of electronic-pop-dance with disco grooves. The EP is intricately laced with distorted synth riffs, melody driven pop-rock vocals, hip hop undertones, and fun, quirky pre-party lyrics. They have previously released 2 albums, “Stirring Up The Echoes” and “Forever Never Maybe”. DUM also has a YouTube channel under the name of David Unger Music which lead to a Grammy-U Fall Kick-Off performance and a partnership with YouTube. Through YouTube, DUM’s videos have grabbed the recognition of artists such as B.O.B, Niki Minaj, Katy Perry, Far East Movement, Ke$ha and La Roux. They also received national recognition on VH1. DUM’s YouTube Channel has accumulated over 2.8 million views and over 26 thousand subscribers.
