About the artist

This music is created by Josh Sackett, former guitarist and singer for the band Last Friday’s Generation. His solo project “Sound Version” started in a living room in Santa Cruz, Ca in 2005. A soft, upbeat album titled “Mid April Til’ The End Of The World” was recorded by Rob Nowell using a simple home recording studio and an acoustic guitar. After a move to Scottsdale, Az, Josh began writing and recording songs for his second album titled “A Night Like This Explodes”. More experimental and electric, this second album is an ongoing DIY project with more of a low-fi full band sound. Producers include ex-bandmates Rob Nowell and John Kirby.
