About the artist

Key Flippin is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and producer. Key is originally from Apex, North Carolina but currently lives in Richmond, Virginia. She started her music experience at the young age of 6 playing the piano, guitar, drums and trumpet. She soon began writing her own songs and creating her own beats furthering her skill set. By the age of 16, Key began to record her written music at Ready Records recording studio in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. With every song she got better and stronger with her lyrics and microphone presence. At the age of 18, Key was able to create music that moves all ages and styles. When her song “Don’t Think” was heard it got her immediate attention from several producers, A&Rs, PRs and more. Key then began performing in Raleigh, North Carolina, promptly showing that she was meant to be in the spot light. Key is continuing to write hit after hit that is to be released by Universal Music at given dates. She is steadily working on her E.P. while creating mix-tapes on the side with several artist from her hometown. She is set to go on tour in early August 2016.
