About the artist
In 2008 Bryson & Jill met in Los Angeles, California at the Room 5 Lounge on La Brea Avenue. The duo formed Troubaduo shortly after, got married and hit the road by April 2009. From April 2009 to December 2011 Troubaduo completed 7 U.S. tours, calling the road their home. But life on the road became very challenging in 2010. Around January 2010 Bryson had developed a brain tumor, and by April 2010 the tumor had excessively grown, to where Bryson could not sleep or eat. About April 4, 2010 Bryson and Jill decided to turn to Jesus for help. Bryson and Jill began battling the sickness with the Scripture of 1 Peter 2:24 – “Jesus Himself bore our sins in His Own body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness. By His stripes you have been healed.” Troubaduo confessed their sins, turned to God, accepted Jesus as God, and got reborn. (John 1:1-14, John 3, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23 and Romans 10:9 = Search for Bible Gateway Website for Free Bibles Online). Refusing to accept anything other than the healing Jesus paid for according to 1 Peter 2:24, Bryson received his healing the morning of April 17, 2010, as God miraculously took the brain tumor out of his head. Since then, God has granted Spiritual gifts to Troubaduo and continued to lead and bless them in His will for their life. Troubaduo has received International radio play and press, but considers their greatest reward to be Jesus Christ, Who gave Himself for any who decide to call upon Him.
After their son Jedidiah was born in December 2011, Troubaduo felt that God may be talking to them about giving their music away free of charge. Soon after, Jesus Christ came to Bryson in a dream, and explained to him He wanted Bryson and Jill to not charge for the Gospel. Feeling that God had confirmed their gut feeling to give the music away, Troubaduo removed their music from International distribution where their songs were currently for sale, and re-released only music that was based on the Scriptures of the Bible, free of charge. Though donations are appreciated and help Troubaduo’s ministry continue, the duo does not mandate anyone to give money in exchange for their music. All of Troubaduo’s music is based on the Gospel, and is free of charge, just like the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Additional information on Troubaduo, music, tour dates, images, videos, etc., may be obtained at the official Troubaduo site shown on this artist page. God bless you and may you always know that JESUS LOVES you desperately. Shalom.
